Ahmad's was founded in 1990 by Ahmad Nazar, a native Iranian who grew up cooking Persian cuisine with his mother back in his homeland. He came to Omaha in the mid-70's and worked a series of odd jobs before settling down with his passion, cooking. For 25 years, Ahmad has run the restaurant with his family and a small staff of eccentric Omahans. Ahmad's customers come from all over the country to taste his delicacies, such as Tehran Chicken, Soltani Kabob, Kabob Kubideh, Gormeh Sabzi, Mast O Kyar, and many more.
