John graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. He is member of the California Association of Realtors, serving as the 2024 President of the Joshua Tree Gateway Association of Realtors, and is actively involved in the local communities serving as past President of the Joshua Tree Chamber of Commerce and he is a founding board member and current President of Mojave Desert Land Trust.
