Specialties: Asaderos serves authentic Mexican food at affordable prices. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served Tuesday through Friday from 8am to 9pm, Saturday from 7am to 9am and Sunday from 7am to 7pm. For breakfast you have a selection of "huevos a la Mexicana, huevos con chorizo, huevos con nopalitos (cactus), huevos con machaca (shredded beef), or omelettes made of vegetables or shrimp. You also can order any style egg, bacon/sausage and pancake combo. You can also take breakfast selections in a burrito or torta (Mexican sandwich). Daily specials are Tuesday, buy one shrimp cocktail, get one free; Wednesday, buy one shrimp or ceviche tostada, get one free; Tuesday through Thursday, $5.00 lunch and $5.99 to $8.99 dinners specials; Sunday, all you can eat buffet from 9am to 2pm. From 9am to 11am, buffet is $8.99 and from 11am to 2pm, $11.99, and kids under 10 years eat for $5.99. Asaderos Mexican Food and Seafood Restaurant/Supermarket was established in August of 2001. The business name "Asaderos" derives from the name of a public recreational site in the state of Mexico where Javier Ordonez, co-owner, was born. At the Asaderos site, it is customary for family and friends from surrounding towns to grill meat and picnic during holy week. Owners, Dora and Javier Ordonez, have always wanted to create a respectable Mexican restaurant where customers are raving about the exquisite food, great service and festive ambiance. Dora and Javier started their business with a small place that served delicious tacos and burritos of all sorts of meats and fresh ingredients. They later opened a "carniceria" (meat store) on the corner of Yucaipa and 4th Street that served take-out food along with typical Mexican food products. By 2008, Asaderos moved their carniceria to Yucaipa Blvd and 3rd Street (the old Bank of America building) and expanded into a full service supermarke
