Specialties: Fried Rice, Chow Mein, Jerk Chicken, Pepper Shrimp, Fried Chicken, Hot Wings, Curry Goat, Curry Chicken, Curry Shrimp, and SO MUCH MORE! Established in 1997. Original owners Sattaur Mohamed and Bida Mohamed came to New York in 1985 from Guyana, South America. They always dreamt of owning their own business, specifically, a restaurant. So they worked hard until they could be able to do just that. Sadly, Bida, passed away in May of 2015, Sattaur continues to manage their second restaurant in Queens, NY. Their daughter, Jasmine, graduated from college and decided her heart belonged where her mother was the most happy, in Carifesta. Today Jasmine is duplicating the authentic Guyanese style cuisine her mother taught her to make.
