In 2013 a part of Austin was losing one of its popular Tex Mex Restaurants (Jorge's). The owners saw a need for a new Tex Mex concept in its location and stepped in and took it up several notches. Gutting and completely remodeling the existing building made an enormous impact for the Allandale Neighborhood. Both of the owners have lived in austin over 40 years and really know what Tex Mex is supposed to be and taste like while at the same time giving customers some other unique options tex-mex options they have never seen. La Mancha is becoming everyones go to Tex Mex dining choice.
