My dad always said, “The way to build a business is to take care of people”. His words have been a guiding light for me, leading me to where I stand today. Greetings and Namaste, I am Sushmita Bhatta, but my dear ones call me Mita. As I shared my food with others, their reactions were overwhelmingly positive. Time and again, people urged me to open a restaurant. Though it meant making sacrifices, I knew in my heart that this was my calling. In the fall of 2022, I completed my pre-nursing program and faced a difficult choice - to pursue my dream of opening a restaurant or continue on the path of nursing. With the unwavering support of my loved ones, and my father's sage advice to begin without fear, I chose to follow my heart. And so, I find myself on the brink of a new chapter in my life - one where I can share the flavors of my homeland with the world.
