In 1997, PKG opened its doors in Corona Del Mar as Panini Café and serving an Italian-influenced menu. Our mission was to provide guests with delicious, healthier food, always made to order with fresh, high-quality ingredients. As our founder is Persian, we soon introduced chicken kabobs to the menu, quickly becoming more popular with our guests than anything else. This paved the way for the diverse menu you see today, which includes the best of the Mediterranean, such as kabobs, falafels, hummus, soups, salads, panini sandwiches, and even pasta. It also resulted in us changing our name to Panini Kabob Grill in honor of our signature kabobs! We have since expanded across Southern CA, with plans to open nationwide.
