I earned my master degree in Marriage and Family therapy from Chapman university in Southern California and my Bachelor in Psychology from B.I.H.E, Baha’i University of Higher Education, in Iran. As a trainee and volunteer, I received in depth training in the Southern California Counseling Centre, and helped diverse groups of clients from different backgrounds. I finished my EMDR training under the training of Kim Kookson, PsyD and facilitated a Community Counseling Course under the support and guidance of Marianne Diaz.

Hi, I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Shabnam, a millennial therapist, a first-generation Iranian-American, and have a background in the performing arts. I focus on working with men and women who struggle with feelings of depression, anxiety, lack of self confidence or motivation. Dr. Nikzad is a California licensed Clinical psychologist treating individuals, couples and families. Her primary focus is to help clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety and trauma related problems.

Dr. Vida Nikzad, Psy.D. LMFT is a psychotherapist in Los Angeles who works with children and adults. Dr. Nikzad speaks English and Farsi.
