I have always been fascinated with physiology even as a medical student. The physiologic mechanisms governing hormone production, action, and regulation are truly fascinating and quite logical - something that attracted me to this field of specialization. I am particularly interested in diabetes and its diverse manifestations in different ethnicities and patient populations. I am also interested in thyroid disorders, obesity, pituitary and adrenal disorders, as well as secondary hypertension.
