During college, the CEO/Founder of Surcheros Fresh Grill, Luke Christian, worked in different positions at restaurants with a similar concept. Upon graduating, he wanted to bring this concept to his home town of Douglas, GA. The community loved it and it has become a very popular place to eat. He soon after opened a location in Waycross before opening in Tifton in 2012. Dublin was the next location open in 2017. Also in 2017, location became the first Surcheros franchise, followed by Jesup, with more to come.
