Alejandro Nodarse presents BLOOD IN THE CUT

The son of Cuban immigrants, Luis O. Cardona has been working at the forefront of equitable economic development since 2016. Most recently, he was the Senior Director of Neighborhood Development at the Baltimore Development Corporation, where he led economic development initiatives for the eastern half of Baltimore City. In that role he also directed the City's Hispanic business development, and in 2023 was appointed by Mayor Brandon M. Scott to the Baltimore City Hispanic Commission. A longtime transit advocate, Luis is also a member of the Baltimore Regional Transit Commission having been appointed by Governor Wes Moore in 2024. He is also a former board member of Bikemore, the Baltimore Architecture Foundation, and the Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce among others.
