Concert 3: Schubert, Tucker, and Ravaei

Savor a Schubert string quartet overlooking Sokol Blosser's rolling vineyards with a glass of their award winning Pinot... Come experience our second Festival weekend on Saturday, August 9th and Sunday, August 10th in Sokol Blosser’s beautiful tasting room, located in Dayton, OR! We are bringing back two favorites by Akshaya Tucker: Breathing Sunlight , her beautiful meditation on deeply experiencing a moment with someone close to you; and In Whose Mouth, the Stars, her musical telling of an ancient Indian story of the cosmos. The program concludes with a new gem by young Iranian American Kian Ravaei, and Schubert’s soulful blend of optimism and gravity, his beloved “Death and The Maiden” quartet. Admission includes a complementary three wine tasting specially paired to the musical program. Following the concert, food and additional wine will be available for purchase to enjoy on the winery grounds.
