We are fundraising for our dear friend Maria Fernanda Gonzalez, she’s from Colombia, who is an amazing mother, wife and a good hearted human being. Maria Fernanda is fighting an advanced form of cancer named Leiomyosarcoma, stage 3. She received the devastating news in December 2023, where they found a huge tumor that needed to be extracted immediately. She is now undergoing chemotherapy and is having kidney issues and due to her financial hardship, she still has to work when she finds strength to do so at Amazon. The unsettling fact that she needs to keep helping her husband to provide for their 2 teen sons that also have cancer is causing a lot of anxiety on top of the pain, discomfort and uncertainty of the treatment.
