SPM Program IV Saturday - Celebrating Youth

Join us for the debut of 2 rising star violinists and performances of Gershwin's American in Paris and Cuban Overture We’re thrilled to present two young rising-star violinists, 14-year-old Samuel Lee and 15-year-old Takahiro Higuchi, both making their orchestral soloist debuts! They will perform the high-energy Concerto for Two Violins by Vivaldi, the spiky Concerto for Two Violins by Bronislav Martinu and the high-intensity, virtuosic “Navarra” by Pablo de Sarasate. The Orchestra will also perform Gershwin's American in Paris and his Cuban Overture. There is a pre concert talk one half hour before the performance and a reception afterwards.
